I finished the Doctor Who Trading Cards a couple days ago. I'm posting the full page of 9 cards and a blow up view of the first.
Now that I am done, I can tell you these were great fun to do. I absolutely love color pencils, and little drawing like this keep me in a meditative state of drawing that is very satisfying.
I'll be doing more for sure.
I'm uploading a couple on RedBubble (see Doctor Who category)

Doctor Who Trading Card Being Colored
I did not get as much time as I had hoped to continue these cards yesterday, though I did manage to finish the coats (color pencil).

Doctor Who Trading Cards
For every Trading Card design, I will make a whole page - or 9 original drawings, each with a different background color. That gives variety and there's more than 1 of each design too.
Here's a Doctor Who #4 in progress - still needs a few details before coloring.
I'm taking pictures of each stage so I'll do a "process" post later on.

Finished Minions Trading Cards
Last night I finished my page of Minion Trading Cards, now ready for scanning and cutting into individual cards. I will also add brand name / website on the original cards.
I've got a whole list of possible topics, TV shows, and characters for more - enough to keep me busy making cards for a while. It's a fun fill in between bigger projects.

Minion Trading Cards In Progress
I'm working on making a collection of little 2.5 x 3.5 trading cards to take to book shows. This first page of 9 cards is all about Minions from Despicable Me.
Here they are in the three stages: pencil, inked, colored (color pencils).

Denver Comic Con 2013 Trading Cards
In the previous post I mentioned I started drawing trading cards on the spot at the Denver Comic Con 2013 this past June.
I made several Doctor Who related characters and several sets of the really fun Minions.
Here are a few examples:
1-Daleks, 2-Dr. Who #11, and 3-Minions:

I draw them in rows of 3, then cut them for individual Trading Cards. Done with coloring pencils.

Denver Comic Con 2013
The Denver Comic Con was an absolute blast! This was my second year doing this convention and I've had a tremendous time with it. This year was even better than last year, so I very much look forward to DCC 2014.
Here a shot of my table Friday:
(maybe I should have taken another one at the end of the con...)

I quickly sold out of all Doctor Who stickers and postcards (see RedBubble), so I started making little trading cards with color pencils. They sold quicker than I could make them!...
Here's a weeping angel one:
