The transition map page going from St. Malo to the Mont Saint Michel.
This also fits this week's Illustration Friday theme: Fuel.
My parents had a 2 CV (2 Chevaux; i.e. 2 horses) for a while, and it was the most fun car to drive ever. It was also very fuel efficient. At the time it would take $5 to fill up the tank, and that seemed to last forever.

I love the cute little car. Geez, $5 to fill a tank! Crazy.
ReplyDeleteAlways reminded me of an upside down pram. I think the fun part your thinking of was the suspension - whenever I rode in one it felt like it was going to turn over at every corner.
ReplyDeleteLovely illustration.
Thanks to both!
ReplyDelete@Duncan- I had to look up what you meant with "pram"... now I see what you mean, though I never felt unsteady in the 2CV myself.
This is awesome, Christine! I'm bookmarking so I can come back later when I've got a bit more time to check out all the pages you've got so far.
ReplyDeleteI love this part of France and love this car. I learnt to drive in one and passed my test in it! it was great fun with the roof down and 2 dogs in the back - happy days.
