Denver Comic Con Recap

Another Denver Comic Con attended - my third this year.
It's so much fun to people watch for one thing, and talk to the many wonderful folks attending and stopping by my table to take a look.
I'm going over the inventory of sales and will be posting a few posts of appealed the most.

Stickers are always a BIG item for me. Tons of these little guys move off my table and into good homes.

Best Red Bubble Design of 2013

I started a RedBubble account this year, mostly to be able to make cultural referenced designs that Zazzle does not take.

Which also mean RB is now part of the Best Of series of posts.

Finished Minions Trading Cards

Last night I finished my page of Minion Trading Cards, now ready for scanning and cutting into individual cards. I will also add brand name / website on the original cards.

I've got a whole list of possible topics, TV shows, and characters for more - enough to keep me busy making cards for a while. It's a fun fill in between bigger projects.

Minion Trading Cards In Progress

I'm working on making a collection of little 2.5 x 3.5 trading cards to take to book shows. This first page of 9 cards is all about Minions from Despicable Me.

Here they are in the three stages: pencil, inked, colored (color pencils).

Denver Comic Con 2013 Trading Cards

In the previous post I mentioned I started drawing trading cards on the spot at the Denver Comic Con 2013 this past June.

I made several Doctor Who related characters and several sets of the really fun Minions.

Here are a few examples:
1-Daleks, 2-Dr. Who #11, and 3-Minions:

 

I draw them in rows of 3, then cut them for individual Trading Cards. Done with coloring pencils.
