Paintings from this weekend, sailboats 051-060. Getting closer to that 100.
Here we have Queen Anne's Revenge, a ancient roman boat, a barge from the Netherlands, the Santa Maria from Columbus by itself and then again with the Nina and Pina and a few schooners to round out the set.
I just couldn't stay away from boats just yet... so I'm doing a few more, 100 to be exact. I'm seriously thinking about participating in Kickstarter's Make100. More on that soon.
Today I managed to draw out the tall ships for the cover of my next travel sketch book.
They'll be finished in watercolor.

Just created a few t-shirts and other products on the Zazzle shop with the two tall ship watercolor paintings.
You can customize shirt type, size and color. Go check them out!
Here's a couple shots:
We had a very small local show with Star Wars theme Sunday afternoon. I took the basics: stickers, postcards, trading cards and prints, along with a few samples of books. I only wanted to deal with one box, so it had to fit.
I had very little expectation to tell the truth and it actually went very well. Very nice low key event.
