Construction Clipart Stickers
I'm adding my clipart designs as stickers in the RedBubble store for the simple reason that I think they're fun.
The first batch is mostly "yellow" warning signs, with one exception below.
Each item peals off individually.
Slippery sign:
Flag man:
My own made up "reminder" sign:
I've got more coming, that I'll add over time.
Why all these? For the very special project:

Sunrise in Arizona
Watercolor sunrise from a picture I took at a campsite in Arizona, right outside of Flagstaff.
The combination of snow on the ground, overcast sky and rising sun piercing through the clouds created an amazing blue-ish atmosphere.
I tried to re-create that morning below, from a picture I took then.
Take one:

Canoeing and Kayaking Stickers
Here's what the paddling trip stickers look like in the high quality vinyl sticker version.
I've ordered several already. These are primarily for myself as a fun way to remember the trip, and for the other participants should they want a few.
I'll turn these designs into more generic paddling stickers for the general public soon.
Page link: RedBubble - Custom Design gallery
Hand drawn with markers and watercolor.

Bold Betties Canoe Trip Stickers
Last weekend I went on a 2 day canoe trip on the Colorado River with a group called Bold Betties.
Just for the fun of it, I've come up with a couple sticker designs to commemorate the occasion.
I'll go over them with watercolor and markers most likely. Done with black marker.

En Route To Grand Canyon
I'm starting the sketches for illustration to my next Travel With Me book - Moab to the Grand Canyon and Back
The 2 signs and the street view are from Williams, AZ, a small town on Route 66 near the southern entrance to the Grand Canyon.
And the two waiters ... well, you'll have to read the book for that story.

Pine Trees In Black & White
I just found this really cool feature on my phone just now ... and it has nothing to do with calling people!
I can take pictures in black and white!
Here is the current page in progress out of my visual journal.
Though not done, I really like the way it came out in the b&w version:

Another Visual Journal Page
Another page from the Visual Journal, completed today.
The point of these is not to think too much and get out of my head. I do whatever feels right at the time, letting the visual guide me.
And sometimes I'm surprised at what shows up. :)

Denver Comic Con Recap
Another Denver Comic Con attended - my third this year.
It's so much fun to people watch for one thing, and talk to the many wonderful folks attending and stopping by my table to take a look.
I'm going over the inventory of sales and will be posting a few posts of appealed the most.
Stickers are always a BIG item for me. Tons of these little guys move off my table and into good homes.
Here are some of the most popular this year - all done with color pencils, except for the TARDIS which is in watercolor. From the RedBubble site:

Construction Signs
Having a little fun drawing construction sign elements, among other things.

Doctor Who Characters Stickers
I received an order of stickers from some of the earlier Who characters - and they are absolutely adorable!
I've done a few more since, which will be uploaded into RedBubble soon, as well as the Who poster I keep talking about - that's on today's ToDo list.
Examples of "Who Math", character sets, and character with bubble quotes:
