ACEO Captain America Trading Card

Had a little fun today drawing Captain America for a trading card.

I'm trying out a bit of a cartoon style for this and liking how it's turning out so far.

More superheroes to come and possibly a few TV characters. Cap had to be first off course.

I'll draw a few more and then watercolor all of them at once.

Jamie Fraser Jumping Jack

I'm doing these fun jumping jacks with my 6th graders at school so I thought I'd try one of my own...
This is Jamie Fraser from Outlander. Claire Fraser is next.
Here's the concept drawing so far. I think it's coming out pretty good. I'm going to test it out to make sure it works before getting into the coloring.

Throwback Thursday #3 Motorcycle Ride In Colorado

Throwback Thursday #3: On the Back of a BMW ride!

I went for a ride on the back of a BMW 650cc motorcycle this past weekend, something I had not done in a while. This got me thinking about the first ride we did together, which I happened to film some of it with a little Flip camera.

Here's part 1, on our way to the Rocky Mountain National Park on the Peak to Peak Highway. We stopped in Nederland for breakfast.

Bullet Journal 30 Day Challenge

Last Monday I started a 30 Day Challenge involving pull-ups, lunges and push-ups, or PLP. It started with 10 reps of each with 1 additional rep per day. At the end of the 30 day, I'll be doing 39 of each!!!
So off course I had to do a spread in the workout journal for it, and here it is.

Column 1: colored in when PLP are done.
Column 2: the time it takes me to do it.

Throwback Thursday #2 Fresh Powder

Throwback Thursday #2: Fresh Powder

This was the first illustration I drew for the Outdoor Series. It wasn't a "series" at the time, I just happen to draw this one, liked it, played with it to create this poster style, then decided to draw a couple more.

The figure is black marker and color pencils. The background is done with watercolor.
